It started and ended on an Indian Summer day. Sure, those two days were
six weeks apart, but they were beautiful days none the less. For Oregon,
a dry Autumn is rare. So, being the opportunist that I am, I called my
buddies at Indian Motorcycle of Portland and asked them if they had a
bike I could borrow for the afternoon. They offered me anything on the
floor, and a hot red Chief caught my eye. The Chief and I found
a lake right in the middle of town. This painting was borne of that
day.
