I recently took A.D.’s 3-day workshop. With
a background in painting I have always had a great passion for airbrush
painting, however, with my busy schedule and full family life I find
it difficult to find time to work on my art. When I took the class
I had only hoped to pick up a few pointers and tips that I could use
in my own work. Little did I know that I would find myself working
intensely on a weeks worth of work and absorbing a lifetime of A.D.
Cook’s art experience in a tightly packaged, well organized 3-day
period. A.D.’s 3-day class is definitely for anyone looking to
improve their composition, airbrush rendering and special effects skills.
Come prepared as you’ll spend most of your time actually learning
till your mind hurts and working till your fingers bleed. Not only
was A.D. a great instructor with an uncanny wealth of knowledge, he
was also a great inspiration! I want to get back to doing art again
and A.D. helped to believe that I need to make time for it in my life.
I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to take the next
step as an artist.

If learning to paint with an airbrush is something
you’ve been wanting to do, A.D. Cook’s One-Day Workshop
is ideal. For a modest fee, you get some paint, generous amounts
of technical guidance, a wealth of valuable information, and
most importantly ...inspiration. That’s the great value of
learning from a master who is in full command of his craft. One
senses the fun
and excitement of pure creativity. You witness the wonderful
ability of
an artist to see the beauty in life and then realize it with
passion and skill. What more could one ask for from a five hour
experience!
Great art is not just about great technique – it’s
about communication – being able to effectively and passionately
express your own personal inspirations and perspectives with your audience
in a way that invokes a reaction. You want the viewer to be able to ‘see’ what
you mean without doubt or hesitation. Discovering this ideal within
and understanding how to access that ability through your chosen medium
is what separates a great Artist from the rest. - A. D. Cook is such
an Artist, and through his own experience and insights he can assist
you in discovering that potential “great Artist” within
yourself.
A good teacher can give you more information than you can possibly use – a
great teacher can help you find exactly what you want to know and assist you
in attaining your goals with that knowledge, so that in the end the accomplishment
is your own and as such a far more satisfying experience. A. D. Cook IS that
great teacher!
A.D. Cook is an acknowledged
master of airbrush painting, among whose forte is his ability
to break down complex airbrush painting processes, and teach
them fully
and understandably to others. Generous with his knowledge and
highly developed skills, A.D. will teach you more in a few
days than you could
teach yourself in a year!

You can be assured of a few things if you take one
of A.D. Cook's classes:
First, that he is a wealth of information, gathered from his
many years as a successful, professional artist. And, not only
will he share his knowledge freely, but he will guide you through
the processes and techniques that you wish
to learn. Patiently, walking you through each step by step, making
sure that
it all makes sense to you. Additionally, A.D. is friendly and
so easy to approach, that even the shyest student will be at
ease.

What a joy to find someone willing
to share the vast wealth of his experience! A.D.'s patiently walked
me through the transition from illustration board to canvas painlessly,
and answered all my questions (and there were many) in his easy,
laid back style.
Working with A.D. has been one of the most confidence boosting
learning experiences I've had!!
