2004 was a fantastic year for workshops. Be sure to join us in 2005.
Have you ever been just a little bit curious about the magic of using an airbrush to create art?

Maybe you are intensely curious, but just haven't found the right venue to learn it the proper way.

Treat yourself to a "hands-on" workshop taught by nationally award-winning airbrush artist A.D. Cook.

A.D. hosts the One Day Workshops at his Tigard, Oregon studio. It's a special opportunity to study the airbrush in a genuine studio environment. Pick the brain of one of the most renowned airbrush talents in the country.

The One Day Workshop is an accelerated introduction to airbrush, and is for beginning students or those who need a refresher course with the airbrush.

You'll learn everything you need to know to get started in the world of airbrush and take your skills to the next level, including; different types of airbrushes, maintenance, air sources, safety issues, painting surfaces, preparation, and airbrush media.

Techniques will be thoroughly discussed and practiced by each student.

These include:
How the airbrush works
Tools and materials
How to use the airbrush
Spray patterns and shading
Line control
Exercises in textures and techniques
Masking techniques
Working on illustration board
Cleaning and maintaining the airbrush
Discussions on practical applications for the airbrush

Hands-on experience. All tools and materials provided.
Limited to only 8 students to insure the greatest level of support from your instructors.

Note: Your health and safety are important to us. We will be using only non-toxic water-based acrylic based airbrush paints.

Price: $95 for 5 hours (11am-4pm)

Instructor: A.D. Cook / Assisting: Doug Hash
